It is home to winter sports, summer outdoor recreation, delicious restaurants, and scenery enjoyed throughout the year. Snow and ski resorts are a significant part of the area’s economy and reputation. Additionally, there are a number of lakeside casino resorts on the Nevada side, and the region is completely accessible year-round by highways.
