Head north on Coastal Highway, and right before you go over the bridge, bear right and enter the parking lot to Delaware Seashore State Park. Make sure to get there early as the parking lot fills up fast! My family and I always head over the dune all the way to the left before looking for a spot to set up our stuff for the day. The choice is yours, however, it is a neat sight to sit closer to the inlet so you can watch boats come in and go out to sea all day. You will be sure to feel safe, as the beach is guarded from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. If you are feeling hungry, head up to Big Chill Beach Club for a quick snack or sit down for some drinks and appetizers.
