Recipe

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs

     

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

     

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

     

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

     

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste

     

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste

     

  • 2 tablespoons honey

     

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

     

  • olive oil cooking spray  

    Directions

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (198 degrees C), if recommended by the manufacturer. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

    2. For sauce, combine onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir in  honey and Dijon mustard.

    3. Spray one side of chicken thighs with olive oil spray, and place oiled side down in the air fryer in a single layer. Brush the tops of the chicken thighs with the sauce.

    4. Air fry at 390 degrees F (198 degrees C) for 8 minutes.

    5. Carefully turn chicken thighs, and brush with remaining sauce. Continue air frying until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), when tested with an instant-read thermometer, 6 to 8 minutes more. Serve warm.
