My dog Coco

First off, I’ll discuss my dog Coco. My dog coco is the love of my life. No one truly understand how loving dogs are until you have one and spend significant time with it. She was born August 22nd, 2009. We did not get her until November of 2009. I remember every second of the day we got her. It was such a life changing moment, it was hard to forget about. I was in 3rd grade and came home from school to see all 2 pounds of her sitting in her new bed. She was the cutest thing I had ever seen. I fell in love the second I saw her. I played with everyday when I was younger and I still do to this day.   We definitely have a connection and I knew it as soon as we started playing that we would get along well. She has impacted my life in a way that nothing can replace what she’s done. I have had my ups and downs, and she’s been there for both.  More importantly, she’s been there for my all time lows. Her sweetness and kisses made all the sadness go away. She helped me in so many scenarios and help me get back to where I should be. That is why I will always love her the way I do.  2 years ago, I lost my Great Uncle who I happened to be extremely close with. I was uncontrollably crying for many weeks. Depression was certainly kicking me hard. Coco was there 24/7 because she is so smart. I say that because she knew I was so depressed and needed someone. She was there for all those late night cuddles and all day kisses. She never missed her mark when it came to making people feel better. At the same, her bark got old very fast. Her favorite person to bark at was the mail man.  The millisecond the doorbell rang, she was sprinting to the door, barking like she never had before. It sounded like a person saying the work bark, but in a very high pitched way. She really loved the mailman. So, Coco certainly changed my life forever, but in the best way possible.
