Single Crochet
- Make a starting chain
- Insert your hook into the second chain from the hook.
- Do one yarn over by looping your hook through the working yarn.
- Pull the yarn over through the second loop on your hook. (you will now have two loops on your hook.)
- Do another yarn over.
- Pull this yarn over through both loops on your hook. (There will now be one loop on your hook.) All done!
- Now repeat steps 4-7 to make more single crochet stitches until you reach the end of the chain.

Half Double Crochet
- Yarn over and insert hook into the next stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should now have three loops on your hook.
- Yarn over once more and pull the yarn through all three loops on the hook. All done!
- Now repeat steps 1-3 to make more single crochet stitches until you reach the end of the chain.

Double Crochet
- Yarn over. Insert hook into the next stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop. (3 loops on hook.)
- Yarn over and pull through two loops on the hook. (Two loops remain.)
- Yarn over again, and pull through both loops on the hook. (Double crochet stitch complete.) All done!
- Now repeat steps 1-3 to make more single crochet stitches until you reach the end of the chain.
