Our village does have a school district named Ridgewood. The district only has six buildings, one elementary school, one middle school, one high school and 3 administrative buildings. Every building consists of one floor with less than 500 students in each building. My graduating class consisted of 87 students; the graduating classes are smaller than most. Our village is very supportive of one another, and everyone knows everyone. Sports are the most popular in our hometown, especially football. Football has and always will be “big” in our town; most of the town is empty on Friday nights. Our school district contains basketball, football, baseball, softball, track, volleyball, bowling, and many agricultural activities within the schools. We also only have 1 gas station called Circle K, one grocery unit called Dollar General, one post office, and one bank called Home Loan.
