Outside of my professional and academic life, I love to play guitar and make music. I have been playing guitar since the day I could talk. Music has always been a huge part of who I am and I could never imagine life without it. I also love horseback riding and volunteering at Days End Horse Farm Rescue. With horses, I can truly be myself. I love giving back to the community while also getting to spend time with some lovely horses. It truly brings me so much joy. I love to read books, preferably fiction but I do love a good non-fiction book on very niche topics that I’m interested in.

On any given day, you can usually find me with an iced vanilla latte. I enjoy spending my time with friends over sweet treats at coffee shops and having deep conversations. There is nothing I love more than spending quality time with the people I hold dear to me. I am one of 2, my older sister is my other half and I cherish the times that we get to spend together. As a mass communications major, I clearly enjoy connectivity with others and hearing their stories.

I am always trying to find new hobbies that I can try. I am excited to get into animation at some point but obviously, starting with the basics is always the hard part. My first objective is to master drawing. I have a little bit of experience with painting and art in general but I yearn for more of a well-rounded approach especially when it comes to something so specific and technical.
