Ingredients:
- 10 pieces of eggs
- condensed milk
- 1 cup of fresh milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Cooking Directions:
- Separate all the eggs from the egg white (only egg yolk will be used)
- Place the egg yolk in a big bowl then beat them with an egg beater or fork
- Add in the condensed milk and mix accordingly
- Pour in the fresh milk and vanilla extract
- Put a mold for the leche flan on top of the stove and put the heat on low
- Put the granulated sugar on the mold and mix the sugar until it is liquid with a light brown color (caramel)
- Spread the caramel evenly on the mold
- Wait 5 minutes, then add the egg yolk and milk mixture on the mold
- Cover the top of the mold with aluminum foil
- Steam the mold for 30-35 minutes
- After steaming, let the mold cool down and then refrigerate
- Serve and enjoy your leche flan!
