When I first arrived at Towson the transition to college swimming was very difficult. The hours of practice were crazy and I was exhausted.
When the season started to wrap up, our team headed to CAA Championships. I was very excited but nervous. I wanted to perform well and drop time.
I was incredibly happy and excited when my relay team podiumed and we got a bronze medal on the first night of swimming.
To my surprise the next day I won my event and received a gold medal. I had never felt so happy and accomplished.
I then headed onto the National Invitational Championship, where I took silver and bronze.
I loved my first swim season at Towson and cannot wait for the next three!
