Rides at the Park

Hershey Park has 70 rides total. Thirteen of them are roller coasters. In order to make sure the riders are safe, there is a height requirement for each ride. Hershey Miniature is the lowest height range. They can ride over 30 rides at the park including the Dry Gulch Railroad. The Dry Gulch Railroad is meant to make it feel as if the rider is on a train. They can also ride the Kissing Tower. The Kissing tower is a slow moving tower that gives riders a 360 degree view of the park. The tower moves so slow that it is more for the view rather than for the thrill of the ride.Once someone hits Reese’s height, they can ride over 50 rides. One ride is called the Whip. The whip is a cart that goes around an oval track. At each corner, it whips the cart around. Another ride available to theReese’s Height range is The Howler. The Howler has carts that hang and spin in a wide circle. The riders sit four people to a cart and can spin their cart with the spinning wheel in the middle of each cart. When kids reach the height of Twizzlers, they can ride all 13 roller coasters including Skyrush. Skyrush is a very thrilling roller coaster. It starts out by going 200 feet into the air and then flying down a hill at 75 miles per hour. The ride last a minute and three seconds. Another roller coaster Twizzlers can go on is the Great Bear. On the Great Bear, passengers hand from the track while their feet dangle. The ride is 124 feet heigh and 2,800 feet long.
