Personal Analysis

Last but not least, my review of this franchise The Washington Commanders. I was born in 2002 so remembering them from when I was younger isn’t really apart of me. I’ve been a fan my whole life because of my dad and I started watching them when I was in elementary school. Giving you a serious review will come from my middle school and high school days where I had a full recollection of what was going on during the games played. In my years, they haven’t had much success with a lot of things. Our coaching staff has been horrible, the ownership is the worst part of the team because our owner has multiple sexual assault allegations against him and misconduct, and finally we haven’t been a consistent team with anything. This team has been to the playoffs three times since I have been alive and have lost their first game each time compared to my dad who has seen them at the peak of their team winning three Super Bowls.  However, The Commanders are heading into the right direction with everything. Development of young outstanding players, better coaching, and an overall different attitude towards the game. They made the playoffs two years ago for the first time since 2016 and as a heavy underdog and a third string QB, almost knocked off the future Super Bowl champions that year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Everyone had high hopes for the next season with mass upgrades and everyone returning, however we were devasted with injuries and management problems that the season was a normal season for us going 7-10. Despite that, the future is promising with this years offseason moves in which we added a star QB, drafted an explosive WR, and kept every star player from the previous year. There is however, a lot of doubt for this team still as all the analysts have us not improving at all from last year in which I disagree with. If the team stays healthy, the Commanders can be a serious threat in the NFC conference and can be as dominant as any other team in the NFL. They have one of the least hardest schedules for next year, new additions, and more chemistry that is continuing to build that can lead to a promising season. My prediction is 11-5 with a divisional loss in the playoffs. There ceiling can be 13-3 super bowl win or the floor of a 7-10 and missing the playoffs. I have high hopes for this team next year and I feel as if next year has to be the year for the Commanders if they want to have a shot at winning anything because a lot of players come off contract and will be wanting to leave if no improvements are made during the season. I hope for the best for this team an I hope they can do some real damage in the NFL next year and for years to come.
