Acropolis Tour Tips
Knowing what to expect is essential and ensures safety and enjoyment! Here are some things to keep in mind while preparing for your trip to the Acropolis.
- Purchasing tickets for a guided tour is worth it! It makes the experience more interesting and engaging. Plus, guided tours may begin much earlier than non-guided tours, allowing you to beat the heat and crowds.
- The weather is best during spring or autumn; there are typically fewer tourists, and the heat is more manageable than in the summer.
- Wear comfortable shoes! Touring the Acropolis involves walking uphill, and the stones may be slippery.
- Pack light – large bags are not allowed. Reduce your baggage to the essentials such as your wallet, tickets and documents, phone, and water bottles.
