If there is one thing that is undeniable about Joe Flacco, it’s his Rocket Arm. The guy can flat out throw a football. Coming out of college, he won the Taco Bell Long Distance challenge before the 2008 NFL Draft with a throw of 74 yards. Thats 3/4 of the entire field. He could throw a Hail Mary from his own 25 yard line. After the competition, Joe said, “If I got a spiral I was trying to get it close up to 80 (yards).”

Besides just his raw throwing power, Flacco has always has a good looking deep ball. Over the years, Joe’s weapons have been somewhat limited in the deep threat department, with the exception of Torrey Smith, and a very old Steve Smith Sr. Nonetheless, he was highly efficient and productive while throwing the deep ball. Every sports fan loves the deep ball, and Flacco has it. Just look at this throw to Jacoby Jones and try to tell me this man does not have a cannon for an arm.
