Historic Playoff Record

Joe Flacco is one of the greatest playoff performers of all time. There is some debate in in the “is Joe Flacco elite” discussion, but this cannot be questioned. Joe Flacco is 10-5 in his career in the playoffs. He has more playoff wins than Drew Brees, Russel Wilson, Dan Marino, and the list goes on and on. Peyton Manning only has 4 more playoff wins, with 13 more games played. He is 12th in career playoff touchdowns, and 13th in playoff touchdowns. Every single player on these lists is a sure fire Hall of Famer, and Joe has very similar and sometimes better numbers than most.

They don’t call him January Joe for nothing.

What puts Joe over the top is the 2o12 SuperBowl Run. The greatest post season by a QB of all time. Flacco went 4-0, with 11 touchdowns, 1,140 yards, and ZERO interceptions while winning the SuperBowl and earning MVP honors. Oh and by the way he took down both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on his way.

In the divisional round, on the road against the Manning led Broncos, Flacco threw for 331 yards and 3 Tds. These TDs were of 59 yards, 32 yards, and 70 YARDS. Not to mention his 70 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones was one of the greatest individual plays in postseason history. The Ravens were down 35-28 late in the 4th quarter, and what does Flacco do? 70 yard bomb to force Overtime. Talk about CLUTCH.

He then went into New England to take down the Tom Brady in the Pats 28-13, while again throwing 3 touchdowns. 2 of which came in the in the 4th quarter. This game put the Ravens into the Superbowl.

Joe Flacco continued his historic postseason with ANOTHER 3 touchdown game in a 34-31 game, which earned him SuperBowl MVP.
