Joe’s Career Path

Joe was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the 18th pick in round 1 of the 2008 NFL draft. The rest is history.  “Cool Joe” began his career as more of a game-manager style QB. Although he didn’t put up insane numbers, he lead the Ravens to the playoffs in 6 of his first 7 years. Also, in his first 7 games, he did not miss a single start. Joe was durable to say the least. Flacco spent 12 years with the Ravens before joining the Broncos in a 2019 trade. Joe was beloved in the City of Baltimore, while winning 96 regular season games, 10 playoff wins, a SuperBowl, and a SuperBowl MVP.  Does that list of accomplishments sound elite to you? The answer is yes.

As previously stated, Joe went on to play for the Broncos in 2019. To say his stint in Denver was a disappointment is an understatement. He led Denver to a 2-6 record, while throwing 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Yes, this is bad, but its the Denver Broncos. Not even Tom Brady could have led that Denver team to a good record. Just look at the Broncos in 2020 (without Joe Flacco), 4-8, and Joe’s replacement Drew Lock has 11 interceptions in 8 games. As a Joe Flacco stan, this season will be blurred from my memory. This image just about sums up Joe’s time in the Mile High.

Now into the 2020 season, J-E-T-S, jets jets jets. Joe Flacco is the best backup QB in the NFL. Fact. If you watched Joe Flacco dice up the Patriots defense on Monday Night Football, you would understand why. He almost led to 0-11 Jets to a win. That alone is evidence to his eliteness. Joe went 18-25, for 262, and 3 TDs. The Jets might be the worst team in the history of football, and Joe was still out there slinging it to no name WRs for 40 yard touchdowns.

Take a look at Joe absolutely torch the Patriots secondary.
