
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 sheets of refrigerated pie crust
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter (divided)
- 2 medium tart apples
- flour
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 45 degrees
- Mix sugar and cinnamon into a bowl
- On a floured surface unroll the pie crust and cut each into an 8 in square.
- Brush the squares with 2 tbsp. of butter and sprinkle on cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Cut each square into eight 1 inch strips
- Cut each apple into 8 wedges and wrap each strip of crust around the apple with the sugar side touching the apple
- Place all your wrapped wedges on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush each one with the remaining butter
- Bake for 13-15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown
