Hi, my name is Andrew Brock. I have aspirations of becoming a sports reporter and covering one of my favorite sports teams. If I had to pick one team though, I would choose to cover the Baltimore Orioles. I have been to 100 Orioles games, and I enjoy it every single time I go. Out of every sport, I am the most knowledgeable when it comes to baseball, as it is the sport that I have the most experience watching, as well as playing, which I did all the way through high school. One of the reasons that becoming a sports reporter is a goal of mine is because I also really enjoy participating in discourse about sports and I tend to have very strong opinions when it comes to my favorite sports teams. I also really like the writing aspect of reporting, and I find it really enjoyable to have someone read something that you wrote and take away exactly what you hoped they would from it. Another part of the writing aspect of reporting that I like is the research that is involved in crafting a story. I really like to find unique statistics that no one knew about before.
