Towson University 

Towson University is a school located in Baltimore. This is a public university and is a part of the University system of Maryland. Towson is the home is the tigers and hosts a wide variety of athletic associations. Towson University has been in service for over 150 years. The school currently has an acceptance rate of just below 60% and has a current total enrollment of over 22,000 students.

University of Maryland, College Park 

The University of Maryland, College park is a public research university located in Prince George’s county. The University offers a wide variety of majors and areas of study. The current acceptance rate at the university is under 50%. The school mascot is a Testudo that roots for many athletic clubs at the university, some of which have won national championships.

UMBC 

UMBC is an American public research facility. The school is located in Baltimore county, specifically in the Catonsville area. The school mascot is a true grit. The school offers a wide variety of fields of study and has been recognized for it’s successful graduating students that have accomplished great things in the field of engineering. The acceptance rate at the school is just under 60%. The school hosts multiple athletic programs.

University of Baltimore 

University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland. The school is located in  Baltimore specifically in the Mt. Vernon area. The mascot representing the university is known as “Eubie The Bee.” The school is well- known for graduating students that have an established background in the field of law. The acceptance rate at the university is over 60%. The school has an academic staff of nearly 160 members.

York College of Pennsylvania 

York is a private, co- educational, 4- year college. The school is located in south central Pennsylvania and offers over 50 baccalaureate programs for enrolled students to choose from. The school has an acceptance rate of under 50% and has over 4,000 students enrolled. The school mascot is a Spartan and hosts many athletic programs that compete in the NCAA Division 3 program.

Penn State University 

The Pennsylvania State University is a state- regulated, land- grant, doctoral university. The school has campuses and facilities located throughout Pennsylvania. Founded in 1855, the University has 3 main goals which are teaching, research, and public service. The school has an acceptance rate of over 50% and has a total of more than 99,000 students enrolled. The school mascot is a Nittany Lion that supports a wide array of athletic programs including basketball and football.

Goucher College 

Goucher College is a private, co- educational, liberal arts college. The school is located in the northern suburb of Towson in unincorporated Baltimore County. The school sits on a 287- acre campus. The school has an acceptance rate of over 70% and has over 2,000 students enrolled. The school mascot is a Gopher. The school is known for preparing students for 21st century careers.

CCBC 

CCBC is an accredited community college located in Baltimore County. There are three main campuses and extension centers located around Maryland. The school has an acceptance rate of 100%. The schools offers students the chance to earn an associates degree or join a variety of other clubs and programs. These service are offered to the over 70,000 students who are enrolled at the college.

Loyola University 

Loyola University is a roman catholic private liberal arts college located in Baltimore City. The school has an acceptance rate of over 60% and has over tens of thousands of students enrolled. The school mascot is a grey hound that supports a variety of sports including basketball and soccer. The school colors are grey and green.

Salisbury University 

Salisbury University is a public university located in the city of salisbury, specifically in Wicomico County. The school is located just 30 minutes from the eastern shore and it’s many attractions including ocean city and Delaware beach. The school has an acceptance rate of over 50% and has over 8,000 students enrolled. The school mascot is known as “Sammy Sea Gull.” The mascot shows support for multiple athletic clubs offered by the university including baseball and football.
