Blueberry Dream Bars

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup mixed nut butter
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
  • splash of almond milk

 

Cooking directions:

  1. To create the base layer, blend the oats until they reach flour consistency. After they have reached the intended consistency, mix in the nut butter and honey.
  2. Add the base into a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Press it down firmly and evenly to cover the bottom.
  3. For the top layer, blend the frozen blueberries together with the vanilla greek yogurt and the splash of almond milk.
  4. Once smoothly blended, pour the mixture over top of the base layer in the sheet pan. Top with more blueberries if desired.
  5. Freeze the bars for three hours. Once they are frozen cut into bars and continue to store in the freezer until ready to serve.
