My First Ever Cruise

When I was about 10 years old, I went on my first ever cruise! Cruising is my absolute favorite type of vacation because you get to go to multiple different places and you get to be out in the open ocean. I’ve always loved the ocean so being out in the open doesn’t scare me, in fact it brings a lot of peace into my life.

On this cruise, one of the places we visited was the Bahamas! During our time there, my family bought a cabana out in the ocean where we could go out and explore the sea. Little did we know, we would be swimming with sharks!! I know you might say well it is the ocean but I’ve never seen a wild shark before and it was so cool! I definitely marked one of my bucket list items off that day.

Even though the days you get off the ship are so much fun, the days at sea can be just as fun if not better. I find that the days at sea are so much more relaxing because you don’t have to rush around trying to keep on schedule with everything you’re trying to see and do. Instead, you get to explore the ship on your own time and indulge in self care the way you’re supposed to on vacation. There are so many restaurants, a spa, the gym, and multiple pools on the ship!
