To start, Accra is one of the best cities imaginable. Maybe I’m a bit biased, having grown up there and experiencing it to it’s fullest. However, being away from the city for more then 7 years has made me love it even more. And here’s why you should too;
It is located in one of the most culturally diverse countries in Africa, Ghana. And is usually classified as the “Canada of Africa”. This is meant to simply describe Ghanaians as welcoming and friendly as opposed to other African countries.
It continues to develop and harbors some of the most interesting languages. A few local languages include Ga, Twi, Ewe, Fante, etc. However, the nation’s official language is English. As a foreigner or a tourist, it is fairly easy to fit in and find yourself at home in the city of Accra Ghana.
