Churro Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon

Cheesecake Filling:

Crust: 

  • 2 Pillsbury crescent dough sheets

Instructions to prepare the filling, crust and mixtures separately:

Ingredients used:

  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions: Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl or bag. Set aside as we will be using this throughout the process. 

CREAM CHEESE FILLING INSTRUCTIONS:

Ingredients used: 

  • 2 cream cheese bars
  • Sugar
  • Egg 
  • Vanilla extract 

Instructions: 

Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. While mixing, Add the following:

  • Sugar
  • Egg
  • A droplet or two of vanilla extract

After adding these ingredients, beat till smooth and creamy. Set it aside as it will be used in the process later. 

Step by Step: 

Ingredients and Materials needed: 

  • 9×13″ pan
  • Non-stick spray
  • 2 Pillsbury crescent dough sheets 
  • Cheesecake filling 
  • Cinnamon/Sugar mixture 

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Step 2: Spray your 9×13″ pan with non-stick spray
  • Step 3: sprinkle ½ of the cinnamon/sugar mixture evenly in the bottom of the pan
  • Step 4: Add your first layer for the crescent dough sheet on top of the cinnamon/sugar mixture
  • Step 5: Press to the edges of the pan
  • Step 6: After, you’ll be adding your cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough
  • Step 7: Unroll the second can of dough and repeat step 4 carefully on top of the cream cheese filling. 
  • Step 8: Lately, sprinkle the rest of the other half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of dough. 
  • Step 9: Time to put it in the oven until your pre-heating is ready! Make sure it is at 350°F before entering the oven. for about 30 minutes. 
  • Step 10: Once ready, let it cool down for 30 mins – 1 hour until you put it in the fridge to cool down for 4 hours. After that, it’s ready to eat and enjoy!
