Friends

Friends are the glue that holds the pieces of my life together, bridging the gap between my past and present selves. Despite the miles that separate us, I’m grateful for the enduring connections I’ve maintained with friends from back home. Their familiarity provides a comforting anchor in the tumult of college life. Yet, it’s the friendships I’ve forged in this new chapter at Towson University that have truly transformed my college experience. Initially reluctant about my move to Towson, I was hesitant to leave behind the familiar comforts of home. However, the warmth and camaraderie of my college friends quickly dispelled any doubts. They welcomed me with open arms, infusing each day with laughter, support, and adventure. From exploring the hidden gems of the city to embarking on spontaneous late-night escapades, our shared experiences have enriched my life in ways I never imagined. Their presence has been a balm for my soul, healing the wounds of loneliness and uncertainty that once plagued me. As I reflect on the journey that brought me here, I’m filled with gratitude for the friendships that have illuminated my path and transformed Towson into a place I’m proud to call home.
