The Jersey Shore beaches are a collection of pristine coastal destinations along the eastern edge of New Jersey, USA, renowned for their unique charm and diverse attractions. Stretching from Sandy Hook in the north to Cape May in the south, these beaches offer a blend of natural beauty, vibrant boardwalks, and a rich cultural history.
The beaches themselves are known for their soft, sandy shores and inviting waters, providing ideal conditions for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Many of the beaches also offer a range of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, and beach volleyball, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Beyond the sun and surf, the Jersey Shore is steeped in history and culture. Coastal towns showcase a blend of modern amenities and historic landmarks, such as lighthouses, museums, and quaint beachside communities. This mix of the old and the new contributes to the unique atmosphere that sets the Jersey Shore apart from other coastal destinations.
This project website will explore four different beaches along the Jersey Shore:
- Wildwood Crest
- Sea Isle City
- Ocean City
- Avalon
